Whistles has collaborated with luxury Australian footwear brand Essen. This five-piece capsule collection brings the footwear label to UK stores for the very first time. 

Founded in 2016 by Creative Director Marre Muijs, ESSEN is an Australian footwear and accessories brand rooted in craftsmanship, responsibility, and longevity. Its name, derived from the word ESSENtials, reflects a commitment to simplifying wardrobes with timeless, considered pieces designed to outlast fleeting fashion cycles.

The Whistles x ESSEN limited-edition collection celebrates craftsmanship, quality, and longevity, offering a modern take on timeless classics in line with the WhistlesAW25 colour palette. The edit features ESSEN’s signature silhouettes in new, exclusive finishes: The Foundational Flat in plum crinkle patent leather and soft chocolate suede The Mary Jane in black crinkled patent leather and buttery chocolate leather The Glove Boot in rich chocolate suede and classic black leather.

Each piece is handcrafted in Italy, highlighting meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to enduring quality.

Launching Friday 17th October 2025, the collection will be available online at whistles.com and in selected Whistles stores nationwide.
