Already a prominent figure through her sold-out shows, viral streams, and remarkable appearances on National Television, Mar's influence can be witnessed in a plethora of fields including music, podcasting, iconic brand partnerships, and more!

Soon to be embracing motherhood and this exciting new chapter of her life, Talia continues to redefine what it means to be a multidimensional creative within the contemporary era.

Talia Mar recently sat down with ReVamp to discuss her exciting professional career, the creative process behind her new single, "ENEMY", any challenges she faced during the production stage of the track, what it's like entering the beautiful phase of motherhood, and many more exciting insights!

Hi there Talia! Thank you for joining us on ReVamp! How are you doing and how has 2025 been for you so far?

Thanks for having me! It has been a good year so far, I had a bit of a rough start to the year with being pregnant and it has been a bit of a difficult pregnancy. Musically, I am really excited to be back in the studio writing some new stuff and coming up to a new release of ENEMY. I am really excited. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year holds.

Let's begin our conversation by mentioning your surreal forthcoming single ‘ENEMY.’! How does this track encapsulate where you are artistically currently in this moment of your career?

I think it is much more of an aggressive sound than what I have gone for before and it is a bit more angry and I think that probably reflects where I was feeling at the time with the industry when I wrote it. Now I am feeling a bit better about the whole situation but it sets the tone for how the rest of my music is going to be sounding.

Kindly walk me through your creative process for "ENEMY." What was the initial inspiration behind this particular track and how did it evolve from its initial visualization to its final polished form?

So I had a session booked in, but when I walked in I'd already written so much about my relationship with the industry because it was so prominent in my life. So I sat down with the other writers and the producer and said I want to write the final song that says it all, that has the emotion behind it that I haven’t been able to speak about yet. I wanted to bookend that chapter and not constantly write about the same thing and after I said that, one of the writers started playing this guitar riff that you hear in the song and it snowballed from there.

Did you face any challenges during the production stage of the track? If so, how did you overcome them?

To be honest, it was quite straightforward because we were all so clear on the vision for this song. So we didn’t feel like there were any hiccups on the production side and it went really smoothly which doesn’t always happen so I am very grateful that it did with this track!

While crafting music, is there a certain element you find yourself led by- perhaps a lyric, melody, or a setting that blossoms your creativity the most?

I have definitely always been a lyric girl, I have leant more into production as the years have gone by but for me, lyrics will always be one of my favorite things to write and one of the forefronts of my songs.

We obviously have to mention the phenomenal news of you about to become a mother!

First of all, huge congratulations on this beautiful news of your growing family! In what ways do you foresee motherhood reshaping your artistic identity and your relationship to your music?

I think it won’t shape my artistic identity because I am so adamant that becoming a Mother doesn’t have to change me as a person. Obviously things are going to change in the sense that I am going to care about other things and my priorities are going to be different because I am going to have a child to look after, but when it comes to me as a person, musically I am going to stay with what I have always loved.

You have established such a massive fanbase of over two million supporters on your social media platforms. How do you personally navigate that balance between authenticity alongside the established expectations of the public pertaining to your music?

As someone who has live streamed so much of their life, I am too far gone to be this polished popstar that I think a lot of people maybe wanted me to be. So towing the line between being genuine and thought out has been somewhat easier for me because so much of my career has been live, where you can’t fake anything.

Does garnering a huge amount of audience ever add any kind of pressure; knowing there are so many people who are extremely eager to witness what you put out there?

There is definitely always pressure when you care about what your audience thinks of songs but I hold on to hope that we like the same things and hopefully they trust me!

Where do you garner your musical inspiration from? Is there anyone presently on your radar that you would absolutely love to collaborate and work with if given an opportunity?

I grew up listening to a lot of RnB and a lot of my inspiration for my music comes from that. Recently I have been loving what Raye and Mabel have been doing and a lot of the UK girls have been killing it. Obviously, I would always love an opportunity to work with any of the UK girlies.

What's next for you, Talia? Any upcoming projects in the pipeline that you'd like to tell us or your fans about?

We’re currently getting ready for ENEMY. To be released and I think I am so in ENEMY. Land right now I feel like I can’t think that far ahead because this is such a big pivot for me, I want to see where this heads first.

Ending Note:- Thank you for joining us on this lovely interview, Talia! Wishing you lots of luck on all your future projects!

Lastly, I'd love to know if there's any message that you wish to convey to your fans and supporters currently reading this interview?

A massive thank you for sticking with me for so long through the ups and downs and obviously having not released music for a little while still being there for me when I come back is really special and I am really grateful.
