We haven’t yet been graced with the London Summer we’re waiting for, but that won’t stop us getting our summer wardrobe ready in hope! The wonderful world of Pleasing is brought to London again, this time in collaboration with Selfridges, following the success of last year’s Corner Shop Fragrance Pop Up.
Creating a bright immersive space, the ethos of joy, optimism, and colour has been brought to Selfridges flagship store. Located on the First Floor Menswear Atrium, the exciting new launch of Pleasing’s Summer Ready-To-Wear collection will sit alongside some of the well-loved and well-known products across nail, apparel, and accessories.
Set to be perfect for ‘lazy, hazy, deliciously long sunny days ahead’ the collection is built to evoke a sense of nostalgia of summer breaks and succumbing to the kind of full-body relaxation that borders on boredom; watching ice cream melt for sport, riding the handlebars of your best friend’s bike to chase shade by the lake, and more familiar rites of passage. Bold colours and retro patterns will have you feeling confident and ready to show off while the laid back silhouettes encompass the relaxed, easy-breezy fit we all desire on hot summer days.
The collection consists of retro-inspired pieces including a perfectly executed tracksuit, ringer tees with short-shorts to match, and breezy linen sets all in unique and bold colour combinations. The ready-to-wear pieces are complemented by a range of new accessories from oversized cotton towels, rendered in abstract squiggles in a sunshine palette, to elevated, particularly charming riffs on the iconic Pleasing Tote.
The collection will be available at the Selfridges pop up and online via Pleasing.com from 30th May, with prices ranging from £68 to £260.
