Ahead of the premiere of Part 2 of Netflix's WEDNESDAY Season 2, we are delighted to be joined by Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, a dynamic South African-born and UK-based actor whose craft is as bold as it is nuanced.

Returning to our small screens as 'Sheriff Ritchie Santiago' from Netflix’s 'WEDNESDAY', Lewis-Nyawo brings law, order, and just the right amount of sass into Jericho’s supernatural mayhem while infusing their role with authority, empathy, and an intriguing presence that perfectly grounds Nevermore’s ever-growing chaos.

Their career spans across acclaimed projects such as 'Top Boy', 'Doctor Who', and Netflix’s 'Back in Action', while their creative ambitions extend into writing and theatre inspired by African antiquity.

Beyond the screen, Luyanda is a vibrant force deeply engaged with their queer community, passionate about showcasing storytelling rooted in identity and heritage, and unafraid to bring their own unique voice to every project they touch and authenticity into every space they inhabit.

Luyanda Lewis-Nyawo recently joined us for an Exclusive Video Feature where they discussed their audition process, their creative process behind playing Sheriff Santiago, their experience working with Tim Burton, what fans can expect from the upcoming installment of the Netflix sensation, and all things WEDNESDAY.
