Jacob Wellfair

Jacob Wellfair is a singer who lives in Gloucestershire who performs in pubs, bars and weddings mainly singing covers but is keen to release original work and perform it live. Jacob has talked about mental health since his mum passed away on radio Gloucestershire and he's finishing a cover of 'You Say' by Lauren Daigle to raise money for charity in memory of his Mum who died two years ago. Jacob said "My Mum always encouraged me to pursue my music, she used to sing herself. She was well known locally for always helping others".

Jacob told ReVamp that he's worked with an independent label and had some success on Spotify doing acoustic covers but he's keen to get original work out there and collaborate. He said "I've always had a passion for music from a very young age banging pots and pans until I got a keyboard. At school I would be in the music room playing and singing things I'd learned by ear. I never thought I'd be good enough to be a singer but now I just want to share my songs and expression to connect with other people". At the moment Jacob is unsigned for original music and currently doesn't have a manager.

Jacob's latest cover 'Head & Heart' is featured on the album, Cafe Covers Vol 2 with other acoustic artists such as Katie Melua, Karen Harding and Janet Devlin.
