Hello Bobby! What was growing up in school like for you?

Growing up in school was good fun. I feel like the teachers in school didn’t care much about the pupils, I felt like it was just a job for them and they could have been nicer. In contrast with Bad Education, two teachers don’t want to teach but love hanging around with the kids. My school life was good, I came out with my GCSE. I wouldn’t say I enjoyed school, it wasn’t bad but I got through it. I found Drama there, I did GCSE drama and that’s what got me into acting.

While you were in secondary school what core memory do you remember being part of TV history?

I remember the London Olympic Games which was the biggest thing that went on when I was in school but this was when I was in Year 6 in primary school. I didn’t pay too much for media when I was in secondary school. That was the first time I ever acted because it was based on the London Olympics.

Do you have similarities to Harrison?

I wish I didn’t but I feel like I do. The more that I play him I feel like we merge into one. If you asked me this last year I would have said no but this year maybe. I would forget things if my head wasn’t screwed on properly and Harrison forgets things even if it’s right in front of him.

Could you describe series 5 of Bad Education in 3 words?
