Copenhagen is undoubtedly a hub for the uber-cool, effortlessly chic, and head-turning minimalist style icons, and its calibre of fashion week shows sits perfectly alongside that of its street style. New-gen talent like Deadwood brings a grungy side to the otherwise sleek and minimalist reputation of Copenhagen Fashion Week. At the same time, brands like Rotate and Cecilie Bahnsen hold space for the ‘fashion it girls’ with their softer elements and renowned style. We’ve rounded up our favourites from the week for you to catch up on.
Fine Chaos
“POST MORT3M” was an immersive runway spectacle, featuring nods to the upcoming YU-GI-OH! collaboration - set to launch later this month - alongside wrinkled and distressed garments evoking use and decay, as well as the divine looking closing dress, entirely upcycled from SS25 deadstock pieces. These signature codes of the house came together to create a true FINE CHAOS prime example for SS26.
Cecilie Bahnsen
Cecilie Bahnsen returned to Copenhagen Fashion Week for a landmark moment: a ten-year anniversary show, set against the raw concrete expanse of Refshaleøen, a post-industrial peninsula where the city’s creative energy takes unexpected shape.
A decade since the brand’s inception, this is more than a retrospective. A celebration not only of what has been, but of what endures, transforms, and evolves into the future.
Deadwood
Deadwood descended into the catacombs of Villa Copenhagen to unveil “Sands of Icarus,” a collection that wonders what happens after humanity flies too close to the sun and loses control of its own technology. The palette shifts from scorched sand, olive drab, and terracotta earth tones to the silver sheen of silica. Textures clash, contrasting dry-rot canvas with modern mesh, and cracked hide with recycled aluminium. As always, Deadwood’s collection is crafted from rescued waste materials. This season, guest designer Salvatore Vignola joins the team to add sensual lightness to the lineup.
ROTATE
ROTATE’s Spring Summer 2026 collection captures the mood of a high-summer reverie, a season suspended in golden light, where femininity takes centre stage through fluid fabrics, daring silhouettes, and a palette kissed by the sun. With this collection, ROTATE steps into its most feminine chapter yet, where softness becomes an expression of strength.
Baum Und Pferdgarten
Baum und Pferdgarten’s Spring Summer 2026 collection, Notes from the Grandstand, gallops into the season with a refined take on contrast. Inspired by the world of the Derby, the collection draws from the vivid uniforms of jockeys, the movement of the racetrack, and the elegance of guests dressed to be seen. It’s a playful study in opposites, where sporting utility meets high-society glamour.
