If you love a sing-a-long like Mamma Mia and Everybody's Talking About Jamie then you're going to love the new smash-hit movie, 'Greatest Days'Greatest Days is an upcoming British film based on the Take That jukebox musical starring Aisling Bea, Alice Lowe, Lara McDonnell and many more.

We got to chat to Lara McDonnell who plays Young Rachel. We chat to her about creating the movie, her favourite song from the film and how excited she is to see Take That perform at the London premiere.

Hi Lara. Thank you for chatting with us at ReVamp Magazine. Firstly I want to say a big congratulations on your movie ‘Greatest Days’. How excited are you with it being released and the world getting to see this film?

I am so incredibly excited! Even when we were first in rehearsals for Greatest Days, prior to filming, we were all just so excited to share it with the world. It is such a beautiful story and was just so fun to bring to life.

I love a good sing-a-long! And getting music from "Take That" makes it even more exciting! What can people expect from this movie? Anything you can tell us about your character?

They can most definitely expect to be singing along! And leave the cinema with many Take That songs on repeat in their head. It is such a fun, feel good film that will completely lift your spirits. I play Young Rachel, the sixteen-year-old version of Aisling Bea’s adult Rachel. Rachel is an absolute die-hard fan of The Boys, but my favourite thing about Rachel is just how kind, caring and selfless she is. She is always trying her best to make everyone happy.

Is there a song in the film that stands out for you particularly?

For me, Back For Good will always have a very special place in my heart. It was the song we were asked to prepare for the audition, and I remember listening to it on repeat to prepare. And then being able to sing it beside Aisling, in one of our only scenes together, was an incredibly special moment.

Have you got any funny or memorable memories from being on set? Anything you'd like to share with your fans?

I think one of the most funny and memorable moments from filming has to be doing scenes in the absolute lashings of rain. There is a scene in particular where the other four girls and I are sat on rocks, drinking before going to the concert. You would never know in the film, but it was absolutely pouring, and we were freezing! When we were cheering each other on in the scene, we really were cheering with every bit of us to hype ourselves up for the scene and then to ace the take quickly so we could get into the warmth!

How excited are you for the big London premiere with a live performance from 'Take That'?

So insanely excited! After listening to them on repeat during filming, I completely fell in love with the songs and the band so I will very much be fangirling over ‘Take That’ as much as the girls in the film do with The Boys!

Finally, what else have you got planned for the future? Any message you'd like to share with your fans and supporters?

I was lucky enough to film a series named ‘Ballistic’ with Jennifer Carpenter which is currently in post-production and at the beginning of this year I was fortunate enough to work on ‘Visitation’ a film starring Olivia Cooke and Isla Johnston. And I would have to say to everyone, go and watch Greatest Days in cinema!
