Born and raised in New Jersey, Mattia Polibio initiated his social media journey three years ago. Polibio’s unique content on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube that revolves around comedy, fashion, and lifestyle helped him amass an impressive following of over 6.5 million across all platforms.

Having built an extremely dedicated fanbase, Mattia has also successfully embarked on several social media tours including Boys Of Summer, and is one of the most in high-demand talent on the tour with his M&G being bought more than any other talent per show. Mattia really enjoys connecting with and meeting his fans around the world. Polibio also owns his very own fashion, jewelry, and merch brand that he created and helps facilitate titled “So True”. The brand has built a wide prominence from around the world and garners extremely large sales that still continue to grow.

Mattia recently sat down with ReVamp Magazine in order to discuss insights into his prominent journey.

Hi there Mattia. Wonderful having you over at ReVamp! How are you doing?

Thank you for having me! I’ve been doing pretty well, thank you.

Since it is almost the end of the year, what has been your most cherished memory of this year?

My most cherished moment this year has to be my trip to Rome and Naples with my father. It was my first time visiting the south of Italy and it was beautiful. I hope I can visit again soon.

I’ll definitely start this interview by asking you what it was initially that brought you closer to the field of entertainment. Did you always have the idea of entering this field as a professional endeavor or was it a passion that you developed later on in your life?

My vision of my future is nothing like what it is now. I always wanted to be involved in soccer whether it was being a professional player, coach, manager, or medic. I started posting videos for the public on TikTok in 2019 and they started getting attention out of nowhere. After that I simply just continued doing that and it grew as the years went on. I never expected this to be where I’m at now.

You have gained such massive popularity over the past few years. How does it feel to know your work is getting credited and recognized by millions of people from around the world?

It felt surreal at first. I never believed I could have had an impact on millions of people, let alone have millions enjoy my content and life. Now after a few years I have gotten used to it, but at the end of the day it still always amazes me and I am so grateful for that.

You also have a fashion, jewelry, and merch brand that you created and help facilitate titled “So True”. What can you tell us about this specific project?

“So True” has been a phrase me and my fandom started using a year or two back and that’s where the inspiration is from. I love clothing so I decided why not take advantage of that and give something to share with my supporters; something that they’re directly involved with.

Your talent branches out to comedy, fashion, lifestyle and so much more. There’s recently have been a lot of rumors about you entering the field of acting as well. What are your personal thoughts about this? Any interest on joining the big/small screen?

I’ve always loved watching different films. Movies are one of my favorite ways to spend my free time. I’ve also always thought about what movie I would want to make, what role I would play, etc. Maybe in the near future, I could act on these dreams.

Where do you garner your major influences from when it comes to your professional journey?

My major influences come from family, friends, and my favorite celebrity or influencers. My father is a very smart man so I like to listen to him and his advice. My friends are also very creative, and my favorite influencers have done major things in the same industry. KSI for example. He has been my favorite influencer for 10+ years and I admire his hard work and discipline so much. He’s definitely someone I would love to have influence me/mentor me directly.

What’s next for you, Mattia? Any upcoming projects/collaborations you’d like to hint your fans about?

There’s a slight chance I might be relocating. With that, I expect a lot more projects and different things to be done. And who knows maybe I can finally work on producing a film!
