With the brand new series of 'The Mighty Ducks: Game Changes' being released to Disney+. We chat to Sway Bhatia who plays 'Sofi' in the hit TV show.

Hey, Sway! Thanks for chatting with us! How have you been?

I’ve been great - enjoying my summer break before starting sophomore year! I'm currently focusing on writing original music as it’s a creative outlet for me. Also, filming for season 4 of “Succession” is underway and we’ll have to wait to see what happens with Sophie Roy.

Disney+’s The Mighty Ducks are having a second season! How excited are you about this? Can you tell us a little sneak peek of what the readers will expect from the new season?

I’m super excited for everyone to see the new season! Honestly, I feel that this season is very relatable. It’s about finding the balance between sports excellence, relationships and most importantly self-identity.

Are you good at Hockey? Do you have any hobbies?

I would consider myself a “developing” hockey player. Growing up, I figure skated which provided me with the tools to learn hockey. Aside from my figure skating background, we have amazing hockey coaches like Dave Tomlinson and Chris Nelson that train us for the competition. But I’ll admit, Sofi is a little better than me at hockey. I have so many hobbies which include dancing, boxing, cooking, and traveling.

You play the character of ’Sofi’ on the show. Are we going to find out more about your character?

Yes, absolutely. Sofi continues to be her strong self this season. There are many layers to her character and those may or may not be revealed this season. You’ll just have to watch and see where this season takes her!

Did you ever watch the animation of Mighty Ducks? And we can’t forget the 90’s franchise too!

No, I haven't watched the animation version yet. I did however watch all three original movies and loved them!

Lastly, have you got any messages you would like to tell your ReVamp readers?

It's important to chase your dreams and never give up. As you see in the “Mighty Ducks: Game Changers”, the underdogs can always make it to the top. GO DUCKS!!!
