Growing up outside of Dallas in a small town called Alvarado, Tayler Holder has always been an entertainer. At the age of 3, Tayler began racing and competing in motocross, a passion that he still holds to this day. After finishing High School via homeschooling, Tayler moved out to California to follow his dreams to be an entertainer and started out to create content for Instagram and Musical.ly, quickly growing his popularity on the platforms with his viral lip sync videos as well as his daily lifestyle content.

Soon after that Tayler branched out into the world of acting with the online series 'DIRT'  where he played Luke, the protagonist who deals with love, addiction as well as tapping into Tayler’s first love in motocross. After joining TikTok, Tayler quickly grew to millions of followers on the platform continuing to create viral content.  After collaborating with members for years, Tayler also joined the Hype House for a short period in 2020. 

Focusing a majority of his energy now on his music career, things are quickly taking off for this talented singer-songwriter. We recently had a wonderful conversation with Tayler Holder in order to discuss his latest release “HUMAN” as well as insights into his music journey! 

Hi there Tayler. Thank you for joining us on ReVamp! How has 2022 been for you so far?

2022 has been full of good and bad moments, it has truly opened up my eyes and taught me what is important and what I need to be focused on.

Let's talk about your new track 'Human'. Huge congratulations! Kindly walk us through the creative process of the song. Did you face any kind of challenges during the production stage?

The process of creating ‘Human’ was very emotional for me. I was in such a vulnerable state during the process. It was a prolonged process and took days to complete.

Talk to us more about how your experience was like creating this track. The track is so vulnerable yet subtle. What sort of mindset were you in when you initially started working on the song?

I wrote this song at the lowest point of my life. I think people get people in the entertainment industry mistaken for what we really are and try to portray us a certain way, leaving us no room for maturing. Everyone deals with the same issues in life no matter who you are. I love expressing my emotions through music and wanted to share what I’ve learned and what I feel with my audience!

What sort of message do you want your listeners to take away when it comes to your music in general?

We all go through the same things, no matter what you do in life. I write my songs based on real life experiences myself and I want my audience to know they’re not alone.

Where do you garner your musical influences from?If given an opportunity, who would you like to collaborate with in the future?

I love and would hope to collaborate with Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes, & Clinton Kane!

You have gained such a massive influence over thepast few years. Do you think having such immense support adds a sort of pressure to your projects or is it something that you perceive as personal motivation?

Having a following definitely adds pressure to what I put out. It doesn’t always help because I’m always worried about what people think about my next move.

Lastly, what's next for you? Anything in the pipelinefor the year 2022? Any message you'd like to convey to your fans?

I'm releasing tons of new music and hittin’ the road to do some cool performances! To my fans stay consistent with whatever you wanna do in life! Things change overnight, so don’t listen to people telling you that you can’t do anything.
